ABOUT ME<\/h3>\n
Alberto Luna was born in Germany and studied at the Kunst Academie in D\u00fcsseldorf. In the eighties he returned to Spain where he began working in the fashion world touching all its aspects: styling, shopping, window dressing and design, while working in the creative department of the famed fashion designer Roberto Verino. In those years he also had the opportunity to attend courses at Parsons School for Desing in New York completing his training in the field of fashion.<\/p>\n
In the early nineties he began his career as a costume designer in the film industry with \u201cGazon Maudit\u201d a French film directed by Josianne Balasko, dressing actress Victoria Abril for her role in the film. From that moment his work started to be required by several important Spanish film directors such as Vicente Aranda, Manuel G\u00f3mez Pereira, Bigas Luna, Rafael Mole\u00f3n, Emilio Mart\u00ednez-L\u00e1zaro or \u00c1lvaro Fern\u00e1ndez Armero among others. Also a good number of international film directors showed interest in his work and requested him to assist in their films shot in Spain.<\/p>\n
At the same time, he has worked in the field of advertising for both film directors and comercial directors. He worked, for example, for Gerard de Thame, Laurence Dunmore, Fran Torres, Federico Brugia, Alex de la Iglesia, Benito Zambrano, Agustin Diaz Yanes, Nico P\u00e9rez Veiga, Hugo Mendui\u00f1a, Mima Nourizadeh or Daniel Benmayor among others.<\/p>\n
His work stands out by his ability to faithfully interpret the ideas of the director, which he translates with extreme precission in the final design of the costumes. His adaptability and versatility in solving every situation determines his style.<\/p>\n
He has also made a foray into the world of theater working with prestigious director Aitana Gal\u00e1n in the play “Sexual neurosis of our parents.”<\/p>\n
In 2004 he was in charge of the scenography of the permanent collection for the \u201cMuseum of Costume\u201d in Madrid (Ministry of Culture). From that moment he has realized several exhibitions as curator and set designer for several clients like IFEMA, the \u201cAssociation of Fashion Designers of Spain\u201d, Madrid City Council and the Ministry of Culture. Among others: “The Thirteen Women of History of Madrid”, the “25th Anniversary Golden Needle”, “Bridal Meeting” or “Men in skirts”.<\/p>\n
